   Michele A. Mathews, PHR, SHRM-CP ~ Founder

Michele has 18+ years of progressive experience spanning all facets of Human Resources Management, Safety Program Development, and Workforce Risk Mitigation.  During the last 9+ years in the Healthcare & Senior Housing Industries, Michele has held positions from Site HR Director to Corporate Director of HR, including oversight of Risk Mitigation, HIPAA, and Corporate Compliance activities.

During her tenure in Healthcare and Senior Housing, she was responsible for the development, oversight, and administration of all facility-level employment management programs – acquisition, start-ups, employment life-cycle planning, employee training, safety initiatives, employee discipline management, and turnaround projects. In addition, Michele coordinated relevant data and trend analyses between corporate departments, facility management, and third-party insurance teams in the areas of workers’ compensation (cost, frequency, and severity), employee health care administration, and compliance management issues.

Prior to entering the Senior Living industry, she held multiple positions (Payroll Team Leader through large Account Workforce Manager) in one of Florida’s specialty Human Resource Management organizations.  Michele has developed plans for and overseen the implementation of multiple HRIS, ATS, and Electronic Benefit Election Systems for clients in varying industries.

Currently enrolled in an M.B.A. program with concentration in Human Resources Management; Michele holds a BA in Human Resources Management, as well as, an AA in Psychology. Michele maintains active memberships in both the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and HR Tampa.  In addition, Michele is ALF Core Certified, a RED Cross Authorized Instructor for BLS & CPR/AED/First Aid, and a OSHA Authorized General Industry Instructor (actively training in both to clients). Additionally, she was nominated for Tampa Bay’s HR Person of the Year in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
